ABOUT FEED

The charity that puts women and families at the heart of infant feeding, bottles, boobs or tubes.

Our mission

Feed’s mission is to change the face of infant feeding support in the UK. We support the Mum, not the method. Whether you breastfeed, formula feed or do a combination of both, we’re on your side.

We’re not about promoting or prioritising any one form of feeding over another, instead we’re about compassion, accuracy and completely non-judgemental, straight-up support, so we commit to providing unbiased, science based and compassionate infant feeding information and advice.

We trust that women are the experts in what works for them and their families, so we commit to prioritising the needs of women and babies and putting them at the heart of everything we do.

All women and babies should have access to nutritious food, and individualised infant feeding support, so we commit to campaigning to end infant feeding inequalities and for the development of infant feeding policy that meets the needs of all families.

All women deserve their own village to have their back when this parenting lark gets tough, so we commit to amplifying womens voices, giving them a platform to share their stories and supporting each other.

Whether your game is boobs, bottles or both, whether you’re cracking plan A or smashing plan B, families supporting families is the best.

Feed is an entirely volunteer run organisation.

  • Feed was formed organically with the sole aim to centre the needs of women and infants. We do not work for, on behalf of, under the guidance of or in affiliation with any other organisation, and have never done so.

  • Formed in 2018, we became a registered charity in May 2020. We are Registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Register: No SC050164

  • Feed is entirely volunteer run. We are funded by individual donations and grants. We have never, and will never, accept any funding from any company that profits from infant feeding including formula manufacturers, breast pump maniufacturers and others.
