Feed provide advice and guidance to organisations supporting families with infants living in food

As our expertise in infant food insecurity is recognised, Feed are happy to provide advice and guidance to organisations wishing to put pathways and safety nets in place to ensure families can access food for themselves, and their formula fed babies, when needed.

As well as providing general advice on infant feeding and food insecurity for families with infants, and professionals who support families with infants, and guidelines on formula provision for food and baby banks, we are happy to meet with organisations in person or online.

To date we have provided research backed information and guidance to a number of organisations including numerous food and baby banks, local Health Visiting teams and other third sector organisations.

In July 2022, following an invitation from Councillor Heather Doran, we met with Cllr Doran and representatives of NHS Tayside to provide feedback on the emergency formula provision pathway they were developing. We were delighted to see the final pathway presented at the Scottish Government Workshop on Infant Food Insecurity in June 2023.
