Feed host Professor Lesley Frank at Edinburgh University

Feed were delighted to host Professor Lesley Frank on a visiting Professorship from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada. Professor Frank is arguably the leading expert on infant food insecurity in the world, having published extensive research in this field, summarised in her must-read book, Out of Milk. Professor Frank is a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Food, Health and Social Justice, and is Director of the Fed Family Lab, a space for training and collaborative social research for food and health justice.

During her visit, Professor Frank presented her recent research findings to the University of Edinburgh’s Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems, and sat down with Feed’s Erin and Rosie for a conversation about her research, and her experiences of working to end infant food insecurity in Nova Scotia. It was fantastic to meet Prof Frank in person, having collaborated with her virtually and we look forward to her next visit!
