BMJ Rapid Response: Fears grow over nutritional crisis in lockdown UK

In August 2020, the BMJ published a piece detailing experts concern that the coronavirus pandemic has tipped many more families into food poverty, with particular concerns for children’s physical and mental health.

We wrote a Rapid Response to the editor to highlight the particular impact on infants, and how UNICEF UK guidelines for food and baby banks were exacerbating this serious problem.
