Feed participate in ScotGov workshop on infant food insecurity

After presenting our research to the Joint meeting of the Poverty and Inequalities Commission, and the Children and Young Persons Commission in October 2022, and participating in the Scottish Government round table on infant food insecurity in February 2023, Feed participated in a follow up workshop. The aim of the workshop was to inform next steps and key learning to shape local emergency pathways.

In their summary report of the event, the Scottish Government stated:

We expect the outcome for this work is to have clear emergency pathways for infant formula for those parents facing a crisis across all areas of Scotland, aligned to the (developing) draft principles.

Following the workshop, a Short Life Working Group (SLWG) was set up to take the proposals forward and Feed were delighted to be invited to contribute towards the development of this important guidance.
